Lianne J. Armstrong
 

Lianne was born and raised in London. She received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Windsor in Criminology and Psychology. Lianne attended Queen's University for her Bachelor of Laws degree and graduated in 1996. Lianne was called to the bar in 1998 and practiced insolvency and commercial litigation in Toronto before returning to London in 2001. Lianne joined Cohen Highley in 2004 and practices in the commercial litigation and bankruptcy and insolvency department.

 

Lianne acts for secured and unsecured creditors, financial institutions, suppliers, commercial landlords and tenants, debtors, bankrupts, mortgagors and mortgagees, construction contractors, trustees in bankruptcy, receivers and monitors, including in proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. Lianne also represents clients involved in commercial litigation and contractual disputes.

 

Lianne is a member of the Middlesex Law Association and The Advocates' Society. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association of Ontario and is an executive member of the Young Lawyers' Division. Lianne dedicates time volunteering at a variety of charitable organizations including Missions Services of London.
