Kristin A. Carnie
 

Kristin Carnie was born and raised in Sauble Beach, Ontario.  She joined the firm following her call to the Ontario Bar in 2008.  Kristin is a 2007 graduate of the joint Canadian and American law degree program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy.  She received her Bachelor of Laws degree with distinction and her Juris Doctor degree cum laude.  Prior to attending law school, Kristin obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Guelph (2004) and graduated with distinction and on the Dean’s Honours List. 

 

While attending at the University of Windsor, Kristin was a founding member of the J.D./LL.B. Student Organization and a student editor of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues.  At the University of Detroit Mercy, Kristin was the elected Class Representative for the Student Bar Association.  She received a Book Award for achieving the top grade in Payment Systems, and was a member of several social and academic committees. 

 

Kristin practices in the area of administrative law and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Middlesex Law Association.
