S hawn was born in Kingston, Ontario, but was raised in and considers himself a native of London, Ontario. He attended law school at the University of Western Ontario and was called to the bar in 2006. While a law student, Shawn won UWO’s “Cherniak Cup” trial advocacy competition and was named best overall advocate at the 2004 national “Sopinka Cup” trial advocacy competition. |

Shawn’s area of practice is within the Personal Injury Department and includes both plaintiff and defence work. |
|
Prior to attending law school, Shawn lived for more than six years in South Korea where he taught conversational English at a university in Seoul. Shawn is a member of the Middlesex Law Association and Canadian Bar Association and in his free time enjoys playing squash, golf and hockey. |
