John is a native of
London, although raised in Stratford. After graduating from St. Lawrence
University in Canton, New York, with a degree in Economics, he attended
law school at the University of Western Ontario. Since his call to the
bar in 1973 John has practiced in London. He joined Cohen
Highley as counsel in May of 1999. |

John practices in the
area of civil litigation. He has been certified by the Law Society as a
specialist in civil litigation since 1991. His areas of practice include
personal injury, insurance litigation, professional liability and
medical malpractice. |

|
John is a member of the
Advocates Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Middlesex Law
Association and the American Lawyers Marketing Association. He has been
a lecturer for the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates Society,
and the Canadian Bar Association on various issues related to his
practice areas. John also is a practice reviewer for the Law Society and
was a seminar leader for the Bar Admission Course in Civil Litigation
and lectured at Fanshawe College in the Law Clerks' Program. |

active in the community, working with Theatre London, and with
fund-raising ventures for the Children's Hospital of Southwestern
Ontario, as well as other charities. |
