Biography
|
|
|
|
Professor Fridman is one of Canada's foremost legal scholars and a
respected legal author. He has been counsel to the firm for several years, chiefly in matters of
contract and commercial law. Gerald is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and is Professor
Emeritus at the University of Western Ontario. |

John
is a litigator whose practice is focused in the areas of commercial
and environmental litigation, expropriation law, energy regulation,
and regulatory offences. He is particularly interested in
agricultural issues and the regulation of agricultural land use, and
lives and works on his family’s cash crop farm north of London,
Ontario with his wife, daughter and son. |

Frank has 25 years experience of debtor/creditor work at the local,
national, and international level. He has appeared at all levels of Provincial Court on high profile
matters and has taught extensively with respect to debtor/creditor matters, secured transactions, and
bankruptcy/receivership matters. |

Joe's main areas of practice include residential tenancies, municipal
planning and zoning, expropriations, and property tax assessment appeals. Joe has a wealth of litigation
experience before a variety of boards, tribunals, and appellate courts. He is author of "A
Practical Guide to the Tenant Protection Act". |

Tyler practices in the
Corporate/Commercial, Real Estate and Estate Planning Department.
He obtained an Honours of Business Administration degree with
distinction in 2005. In 2006, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws
degree. Tyler is active in the Optimist organization and
volunteers in many fundraising activities. |

Lindsay practices in the areas of
municipal and administrative law. She obtained an Honours
Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 and her Bachelor of Laws in 2006.
In 2006, she received the Ontario Expropriations Association's Bursary
Award. Lindsay has a particular interest in Human Rights and
Employment issues specific to Municipalities. |

Lucy practices in the areas of personal injury, insurance defence, administrative
appeals and non-profit co-operative housing litigation. She has been before the Superior Court of Justice and
Divisional Court. Lucy has also been involved with the OFSC's
mediation process. |

Sarah's practice is focused on civil and
commercial litigation, class actions, Aboriginal law, and employment
law for both employers and employees. She obtained a Bachelor of
Arts Degree in 2003 and her Bachelor of Laws in 2006. Sarah
works with the Board of Directors for LEADS Employment Services. |

Shawn's practice is focused on plaintiff
and defence work within the Personal Injury Department. He
obtained his Bachelor of Laws in 2006. Prior to attending law
school, Shawn lived for more than six years in South Korea where he
taught conversational English at a university in Seoul.. |

John is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in
Civil Litigation, and has a special interest in medical negligence and personal injury cases. He has
represented both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous large damage cases before all levels of trial
courts and the Ontario Court of Appeal. |

Stephanie practices in the area of
commercial litigation as well as class action litigation. She
obtained her Bachelor of Laws in 2002. Stephanie practiced law
in Toronto for five years before moving to London to join her family.
In 2005, Stephanie completed a Master of Laws at The University of
Western Ontario. |

A lexandra practices in the area of civil litigation with an
emphasis on personal injury and insurance defence. Alexandra graduated
with distinction from UWO in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in
Philosophy. In 2007, she graduated from the joint law program at the
University of Windsor and obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Juris
Doctor Degrees. |

Iain practices family law, and estate and pension litigation. He
also represents victims
of sexual abuse in civil litigation. He has significant trial and appeal court experience. Iain is a member of the
Middlesex Family Law Association and a Board Member of the regional Canadian Pension Benefits Institute. |

Paul has a broad business background and over 20 years of legal experience,

property. Brad has practiced in London since his call to the bar in 1987. He specializes
