Jennifer is an associate practicing with the bankruptcy & insolvency and
commercial litigation groups. She provides legal representation and
advice to a broad range of clients, including interim receivers and
managers, bankrupts, businesses and individuals in need of financial
re-organization, financial institutions, mortgagees and mortgagors,
creditors and debtors, trustees in bankruptcy, commercial landlords and
tenants, parties involved in shareholder disputes, construction
contractors, and parties involved in commercial, contractual, and
priority disputes. In addition, Jennifer provides legal counsel and
representation to professional negligence liability insurers and
lawyers. She regularly prepares commercial documents and negotiates and
conducts commercial transactions involving insolvent corporations.
Jennifer has acted as counsel in an extensive array of disputes before
all levels of court in Ontario. |

Jennifer is the firm’s Chief Privacy Officer and is a member of the
Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Association of Insolvency &
Restructuring Professionals, the Middlesex Law Association, and the
International Bar Association. As well, Jennifer is a member of the
Ontario Bar Association Council and an executive member and community
outreach coordinator of the Ontario Bar Association Young Lawyers’
Division for Southwestern Ontario. |

Jennifer is involved with Big Sisters of London and is a member of the
board of directors of the Museum of Ontario Archaeology. Jennifer has
served as mentor to articling students and law students and has been a
guest speaker and lecturer on various insolvency and law-related topics
for elementary students, post-secondary students, and insolvency
professionals. |
