Laura M. McKeen

Laura was born and raised in Strathroy, Ontario.  Laura attended Queen's University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2006.  She continued at Queen's University and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2009.  While in law school, Laura was on the Dean's Honour List and volunteered with Queen's Legal Aid and Pro Bono Student's Canada.

Laura began with Cohen Highley LLP as a summer student.  She returned to Cohen HighleyLLP in 2009 as an articling student.  During her articles, she was exposed to all of the firm's practice areas and attended on matters before the Superior Court of Justice as well as various administrative boards and tribunals.

Laura joined the firm as an associate lawyer in the Administrative Law Group after her call to the Bar of Ontario in 2010.  Her practice includes all areas of administrative law, including residential tenancies, municipal planning and zoning, expropriations, and property tax assessment appeals.
