R. Tyler Hortie

Tyler was called to the bar in 2007 and is a member of the firm’s corporate/commercial, real estate and estate planning department.

Tyler was born in Ottawa and raised in Uxbridge, Ontario, prior to attending the University of Western Ontario in 1999.  In 2005 he graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business with an Honours of Business Administration, with distinction, and in 2006 he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) with a concentration in tax law.

While at the UWO Faculty of Law, Tyler worked as the Director of Sport Solution, a free legal clinic for Canadian Amateur Athletes.
