Paul G. Vogel
 

Paul is a partner in the firm. He practices in the areas of environmental law and commercial litigation. Paul attended the University of Manitoba in a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program and obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree from Osgoode Hall in 1974. He was called to the Bar in 1976 and joined the firm in 1977.

 

Paul is a member of the Middlesex Law Association, the Canadian and American Bar Associations, and the American Association of Trial Lawyers. the American Association on Mental Retardation. Paul has spoken at meetings of various local associations for the mentally handicapped and has written on the rights of mentally handicapped citizens. He is a former Vice-Chairman of the Special Education Advisory Committee for the Middlesex County Board of Education.

 

Paul is the author of Civil Procedure in Practice, a major text produced by the firm on the law of civil procedure. He has published articles on a variety of issues, including environmental matters, remedies available to any employer to restrain unfair competition by a former employee, appealing municipal tax assessments, and remedies available to farmers involved in disputes with secured creditors. In addition, Paul has conducted seminars for financial institutions, developers and real estate agents concerning environmental liability. He also participates in an annual program of conferences for farmers sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and writes and edits Agrilaw, a nationally syndicated column produced by the firm, dealing with legal issues of concern to farmers.
