Lisa M. Walters |

Lisa was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She
moved to London in 1999 to attend the University of Western Ontario. In
2002, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and
Sociology on the Dean’s Honours List. Lisa was a University of Western
Ontario Scholarship Recipient—awarded for academic achievement and
community involvement. |

Lisa attended law school at the University of Western
Ontario and obtained a Bachelor of Laws in 2005. She was called to the
Ontario Bar in July 2006. |

Lisa started at Cohen Highley as a summer student in the
summer of 2004 and returned for her articles in 2005. She practices
primarily in the area of family law but also practices in the areas of
estate and civil litigation. |

While in law school, Lisa was active in student
government where she acted as Secretary to the Legal Society as well as
grade representative. Lisa was also involved in many charitable
organizations while in law school. She volunteered as a case worker with
Community Legal Services, for Pro Bono Students Canada, London Lawyers
Feed the Hungry and acted as Co-Chair to the Western Law Outreach
Committee. |

Lisa has dedicated time to several charitable
organizations, volunteering her time with the London Lawyers Feed the
Hungry and Community Living London. |
